Dr. Armstrong grew up in Blackfoot and graduated from BHS. He earned his BS degree from BYU and his DDS degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland Ohio. Dr. Armstrong has taken post graduate education courses in endodontics, implantology and sedation dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association as well as the Idaho Dental Association. Dr. Armstrong enjoys the people he works with in the office and the good people of Blackfoot. When he is not at work he enjoys cycling, water and snow skiing and playing outside with his family.
Dr. Boyd Bandy joined us at Armstrong Dental in October 2018. Dr. Bandy was raised in Montana. He completed his undergraduate at Montana State “Go Cats”. He joined the Air National Guard and spent 20 years seeing the world. Served a 2 year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Western New York and really enjoyed the great lake winters. After the Air National Guard he attended Roseman University of Dental Medicine. After Graduation he joined the Utah Army Guard as a Dentist. He lived and worked in Beaver Utah with his family. We are so happy to have him at our office; he is a great asset to the Armstrong Dental Team. Dr. Bandy is enjoying the Bingham County area and is happy to be closer to his parents and siblings who live in Montana.
Maureen has worked at Armstrong Dental for 14 years. Work is fun, she enjoys all the good people she has the privilege of working with every day. We have the best patients in our practice. What a pleasure it is to get to know them and their families. I can’t think of a better place to work than here at Armstrong Dental where we have the opportunity each day to help our patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health and beautiful smiles. When Maureen is not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband exploring new places. Every chance they get they love to travel to see their children and grandchildren.
For the past year when you come into Armstrong Dental Office you have been greeted by Kim. She came to Armstrong Dental with 7 years of reception experience from a physician office. Kim received her legal secretarial office occupations certificate from Idaho State University College of technology. Kim’s favorite thing about working at Armstrong Dental is getting to know all the patients, and reconnecting with old friends she has not seen in awhile. When Kim is not working she stays busy with her husband, her 7 children and her grandson.
Delis comes to our office with 29 years experience as a hygienist. She graduated from ISU with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 1986, and immediately started into her career as a Dental Hygienist. Delis also taught at the Dental Hygiene program at ISU for 5 years. Delis is a Blackfoot native. She loves to ski, both water ski and snow ski, She is very talented as it shows in her quilting and music. Delis’ biggest love is her family, including her 3 grandchildren. Delis is excited to be a part of a dental team that puts patients first, and we are excited to have her as part of our team!
Heather graduated from Idaho State University with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2016. She started working at Armstrong Dental right after graduation. She loves having the opportunity to help others using the skills she developed with her degree. Heather was born and raised in Oregon. 18 years ago she moved to Idaho where she has raised her family. Heather has 5 children and one grandchild. She enjoys the outdoors and spending time exploring all that Idaho has to offer with her husband and children.
Brittany was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho. She attended school at Idaho State University and graduated from ISU in 2002 with a Bachelor Degree of Science in dental hygiene. She has been practicing as a dental hygienist for 15 years at Armstrong Dental and enjoys working with patients to help them keep their dental health at its best. Brittany strives to provide the best quality care that she can give. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and five children. They keep her very busy when she is not at Armstrong Dental with soccer, baseball, and music lessons.
Alicia grew up in Blackfoot Idaho; she graduated from Idaho State University in 2007 with a bachelor of science in Dental Hygiene. Although she was born and raised in Blackfoot she has lived and worked in North Dakota and Colorado. She is happy to be back in Idaho and we are happy to have her as part of our team at Armstrong Dental. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her Husband and four daughters biking, swimming and playing sports.
Carla has worked in the dental field for 25 years. 21 years has been at Armstrong Dental. Carla earned her dental assisting certificate from Idaho State University. She is dedicated to her patient’s dental and overall health. Carla loves what she does; and does not consider it work. She spends her time out of the office with family and friends. She enjoys traveling to see family. When at home she loves to garden, read, do crafts. She also spends time serving in her church.
Alexa: (Lexie) has been working as a dental assistant with Armstrong Dental for the past 13 years. She really enjoys her job and being a part of the team at Armstrong Dental. She enjoys getting to know the patients and is dedicated in helping them with their dental care. Lexie has 4 children and 2 grandchildren. When Lexie is not helping patients at Armstrong Dental she enjoys spending her time reading, watching movies, shopping, being outdoors and most of all spending time with her family.
Ashley is a Wyoming native but has lived in Idaho for the past 10 years. Ashley received her dental assistant certification at Idaho State University. She has 7+ years of experience in the dental field. Her calm and friendly nature, combined with years of experience and great skills permit Ashley to set patients at ease while helping them receive exceptional care. In her spare time Ashley spends her time with her son and husband. Together they love to camp, fish, ride 4-wheelers and just be outside, preferably in the mountains.
